Imagine paying for a program you don't spend half your training session editing...

❌ No more cobbling together old workouts, tweaking templates, or wondering if what you’re doing is actually working.

✅ You open your phone, follow the plan, and exhale. It’s all there for you—simple, strategic, and built on science (for a full year!).

✅ You’re not only consistent, but enjoying your lifts—because you’ve outsourced the planning and have a trusted process. You’re not just lifting more, you’re lifting smarter.

✅ Sessions feel familiar- empowering. You’re learning as you go, applying that knowledge in your own training—or even sharing it with your clients (if applicable).

And the best part?

🤝 You’re not doing this alone.

With a real coach (yay humans) checking in weekly, answering your questions, and pushing you when you need it most, you’re supported by more than just a program—you’re part of a system that cares about your success.

You’ve lowered the barrier to entry with BBA. Even when life and work get chaotic, you’ve got a flexible, trustworthy base to return to.

And this time?

You’re loving *almost* every rep of it, because it feels good to feel strong again.

We've thought of everything - so you don't have to.
Bring ease back into your training with Built By Annie.

but What style of training is Built By Annie?

Train somewhere between a power lifter and physique competitor without being either of those things.

AKA classic weight training methods, using primarily free weights with some machine work.

here's what you'll get inside bba

Daily Warm Up and Movement Prep

Full body warm up with video demos as well as mobility and movements specific to that day's training.

Volume Options

Three warm ups, with distinctions on which to choose based on time. Choose the lower set ranges to save on time. Add more isolation with when extended exercises are provided...or leave them untouched!

Pre-Selected Exercise Alternatives

For nearly every exercise we've given you alternative exercises that you can choose based on time or equipment, as well as personal preference. Get the planned stimulus with no extra brain gymnastics by you.

Daily At Home
Modification

At the end of each lift, you have an at home version. You can train an entire year at home and progress all the same, or bounce between the at home and gym versions.

BBA Coach Check-Ins

Yes, there is a human on the other side of your program. Ready to answer questions, comment on your program notes, or just cheer you on.

In House Movement Demo Videos

Take Our Quiz

Look, you’re busy AF - Allow me to take training decisions off your plate.

You’re a lifter who knows their way around a barbell.

But that doesn’t mean you want to spend hours programming your own workouts, or dealing with cookie-cutter plans that don’t actually challenge you.

Whether you’re rebuilding after time off, chasing new strength PRs, or just tired of flying solo, BBA gives you:

Expertly written high-caliber programs designed for strength and hypertrophy with mobility in mind

Pre determined exercise alternatives that still give you the designed stimulus for the day but give you flexibility based on time limitations or personal preference

Set ranges and extended exercise options so you can fit only what you want and need to in your < 60 minute session. Or tack on more for some extra work.

Daily At home workout that progresses over the 12 months, just like the gym version (no compromise on quality, and no modifications by you)

Access to the BBA coach – responding to your notes and input

A trusted plan so you can free up brain space—and look forward to your lifts (as you should)

We bring the program. You bring the effort.

Single Limb Exercise Best Practices

I share a few tricks of the trade to get the most out of your single arm and single leg exercises. Because you’re going to see A LOT of unilateral work inside BBA.

As I don’t calculate your weights for you inside BBA, you’ll be selecting your own load. I give you a few ways to do that as efficiently as possible.

You likely know how to read tempo, but I am sharing my basic rules of thumb when it comes to tempo for strength and hypertrophy. (Also I might write it differently than you’re used to).

2/4 lifts is better than 0/4 lifts, but what do you cut out if short on time? I give you two main options to choose from so you can be confident in the work you’re putting in, even if limited on time.

There are four planned deloads inside BBA – but also you might just need to take one or have life bestow one upon you. This training will help you make the most of it.

When and how to prioritize full range motion when training for strength vs hypertrophy and how that relates to the programming inside BBA.

Though we hope you don’t experience pain in BBA (for any reason), we know it happens and want you to feel equipped to make the best training decisions for yourself.

Good old load vs capacity and how life outside the gym can effect performance inside the gym. I give you considerations and options for adjusting training if needed.

Miss a week (or more?), should you pick up in real time, or be “behind” and finish the entire phase? We discuss your options and some pros and cons of both.

What it is not, is a training on cycle synching (not backed by research). But it is an acknowledgement of experiences we can have in different phases of our cycle and how to best navigate those within our training. As well as truths we can cling to.

Nearing 40 or over 40? You’re not a fragile butterfly but you’re not 23 either. There are training and recovery variables to focus on in order to get the most bang for your buck. And it’s all covered here.

Aubrey Birch

BBA Head Coach & Client Relations

Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT), Women’s Coaching Specialist (GGS-1).

As long as I remember, I’ve loved the opportunity to learn and grow, and help others learn and grow. I’ve been coaching and training in the fitness industry for the last 6 years, but it’s been a part of my life for much longer.

As a coach, I’d say one of my biggest strengths is helping people develop more self-compassion and overcome discouragement and doubt in themselves. I love helping people understand why they’re doing what they’re doing, align it with their own values, simplify their approaches, and create long lasting change in their lives that feels GOOD!

I’m excited to support you through the next year (or more!) and cheer you on in your gains, both in physical strength and the things you learn along the way!

Madeline Mihaly (Maddy)

BBA Coach & Admin - Operations Manager

I’ve spent the last 10 years coaching in the fitness industry. I started with a SPIN certification, and spent 7 years teaching cycling classes before moving onto my personal training certification (PTC) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). I then spent two years as a trainer at IMPACT Fitness + Wellness, a gym that specializes in group personal training before coming to work with all our clients inside BBA.

From me, working with people is the best part of coaching. I love to maintain and develop relationships, and seeing clients succeed makes my heart happy. I’m here to celebrate your wins (big and small), push you when you need it and boost you up when you’ve had a rough day. Health and fitness encompasses so much more than the physical, and I hope we can learn from each other. Can’t wait to meet you inside BBA.

You're nosey, we like that...

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a start and end date?

We suggest a 12 week track for Base but you can take as long as you like (though you continue paying). You can start as soon as you sign up! Your seven day free trial begins the moment you sign up. You can take as long as needed to complete your 52 week program (because life happens). When you finish, you can simply press "restart" if you will to begin the program again. No need to re-enroll. You're already set!

When does my payment come out?

The same day every month from the end of your seven day trial. Your first payment will be withdrawn after your first seven days. Then monthly after that.

How long is the program?

Progress and Strong are 52 weeks (but you may take longer to complete them as long as you're paying monthly). BBA Base is 12 weeks, but you keep access as long as you pay.

How many days per week is the program?

BBA Base (our re-entry program) is a 3 day split. Progress and Strong are 4 day upper lower splits.

How long do the lifts take (really)?

All lifts can be completed in under 60 minutes with the volume options we've provided for you. You can skip parts of the warm up and also veto the extended exercise options to ensure a sub 60 minute lift from start to finish.

How many exercises per day?

4-6 per day for main lift and accessory. Lower is typically 4-5, upper can tend toward 5 or 6. This also depends on if you tack on the extended optional exercises.

How often to workouts change?

The average phase length is 5 weeks inside Built By Annie. Four deloads are included.

Does BBA include cardio or conditioning?

Negative. BBA is a strength and hypertrophy program based around classic weight lifting methods.

What if I want to change programs?

No can do - BBA is PROGRESSIVE. One phase builds upon the previous. Bouncing from program to program defeats the entire purpose. If you want to switch from Progress to Strong or vice versa, you'll need to cancel one subscription to start the other.

Do I need barbell experience to join BBA?

Absolutely. Progress and Strong assume you are not new to training. If you've been away from the gym for a while or ARE starting from scratch then you'll need to start with BBA Base before joining Progress (this is our suggestion).

Do I get access to a coach?

Yes. BBA is NOT 1:1 coaching. But you can leave notes on your lift or message a coach in the Everfit App and receive feedback or support. This is NOT a set it and forget it program. There is a human on the other side who will comment on your lifts if you're inputting data.

Can I upload videos for form feedback?

While there is a coach on the other side of your program input, we do not review form inside Built By Annie.

Can we repeat the program?

For Progress and Strong, YES. Once you complete the program (or at anytime), you can simply press "restart program" and start back at day 1.

What if I need to cancel?

You cannot cancel BBA Base. But for Progress and Strong, we hope the free trial secures your love for BBA programming but life happens, we get it. You can cancel anytime by managing your membership - Hassle free.

What if I need to take a break or pause?

Inside the BBA Resource Library we provide links on how to manage your account and pause if needed. You have options.
