Fluid, efficient, and effective program design is available to you.
“The periodization methods was exactly what I needed. How to actually apply the knowledge I had from my certification was invaluable. And the final program submission was amazing because now I can just drag and drop and then adjust for each individual client. This course has made programming faster, easier, and far more effective for both myself and my clients.”
- Rebecca Lockhart
✅ You can program without questioning whether what’s on paper will work in the gym.
✅ You can feel confident selling your methods (hello 12 month commitments).
✅ You can have a system and understanding of program principals that saves you time + provides results. We love a win-win.

Fact is, you may know some of this stuff already. You may recognize or even use some of the concepts and information inside this course. But can you seamlessly apply them or combine them, progressing one to the next?
– You’re certified and/or have a degree in kinesiology, biomechanics, exercise and sport science or similar.
– You provide or want to provide 1:1 and possibly group progressive templated programming, know the basics, understand the difference between strength and hypertrophy.
– You know what rest and tempo are, you have some level of confidence with your current programming abilities, but you’re looking to solidify your understanding, be able to program long term, in a time efficient manner, and create structure to your programming that gets results for your clients.
– You want to explore different styles of strength training AND also know how to piece them all together.

Let Pure PROgramming cement your programming confidence + effectiveness.
Save yourself time without sacrificing client results (maybe even enhancing them).
After graduating with my degree in Exercise and Sport Science in 2013, becoming a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), changing course from college strength and performance coach to personal training, I found my calling in the world of online health and fitness.
Education and efficacy are at the center of Annie Miller Concepts [two things I saw a shortage of in the online space]. I built my business through my 12 month programming offers: 1:1 remote training, and Built By Annie.
Now I find myself passing those tactics and strategies on to YOU. How to apply concepts and connect the dots for efficient and effective strength and hypertrophy programming. My aim is to share my 10+ years of education, experience and program design, so that you can do better for your clients, and yourself.

This is not MY method - it is a decade plus of my education, client practice, and science-backed program prescription combined in a way that allows you to mix and match methods and philosophies that ultimately work for YOU and YOUR CLIENTS. The steps you need for long term strength and hypertrophy program design.

2-3 hours of course consumption and work/wk. Students report that the course takes 32-36 hours to complete (including creation of final program design).

At the start of the course I had a very basic understanding of programming. I had a hard time pairing exercises and easily confused myself. Now I feel more clear on how to pick exercises, pair them and what a proper set up of macro, meso and microcycles includes.
I feel so much more confident in programming! I know I am a good trainer.
I just didn't know where to start. I have already applied the training splits brain gains. New client needed 2 days to get her program in, so we have a full body, upper body pull AND push in each day, plus core and mobility. She was SO excited when she saw her program.
I have been able to apply rest periods and the reasoning behind it (which I hadn't added into my programming in the past). I was also able to send a message to my clients (along with their program) explaining why I chose a particular split in accordance with their schedule as well as particular exercises to suit their individual needs/goals (while including a balanced selection of push, pull, hinge, squat, carry variations)
Absolutely LOVED every bit of the course. The deep dive into various methods was eye opening and really helped me see that there was more to a good program than just trying to hit as many muscles as you can in each workout. There is so much useful information to continue to learn and apply and I can't wait to provide better programming and results to my clients. I am more prepared now, than when I completed my CPT 3 years ago.
This course is a very thorough dive into all that is needed to know in order to elevate your programming skills! I loved the depth the periodization section goes into - so much so that I will probably need to do some reading and re-reading to really grasp it! I was very impressed with how thoughtfully designed this course is.
“This course provided all of the step by step parts of program design and Annie designed this course so that each step of the course prepared you for the next. The information is thorough but paced nicely for an already busy entrepreneur. I felt so set up for success in how she laid out the course and timing of the course. She was able to take very highly detailed and high-level concepts & make them applicable for the newer coach. What it did for me was give me the confidence to APPLY (some of which I already knew was important) the basics in an educated manner - one where there is true INTENTION not just slapping together a "workout" for a month at a time.”
"This course was very eye opening from a client and trainer perspective. As a client I have never been exposed to the hypertrophy and strength methods that were discussed in the course and I have been working with trainers for 10 years. It is what you called a nonlinear progression style of programming. I am excited to incorporate what I have learned about periodization as well as experiment with some of the methods in module 5. I can't wait to see how this improves my own strength grains (which I had felt had plateaued) and incorporate this with my training clients to deliver better results."
I loved the simple breakdowns of each section and how you would reference older sections/concepts to bring it full-circle. That's what I feel has been missing from so many larger organization courses I've taken - teaching the basics and then revisiting them and explaining how they apply to new concepts or real-life application/examples. You said it multiple times through this course but truly the "connecting the dots" is what I found so much value in and haven't seen other places. I also really enjoyed being able to take pieces along the way and apply it to current client/personal programming. I felt like I was continually gaining knowledge and clarity through this course and didn't have to wait until the end for an "ah-ha" moment of it all coming together.

Technically yes, but if you’re coming from the masterclass then these bonuses and pricing expire after your 7 day masterclass access expires.
Nope! Most students work at their own pace and use their CEU deadline as kind of a deadline by default for Pure PROgramming. But you have lifetime access as long as the course exists. So take your time, and review or pause whenever needed.
If there is any issue with your final program Annie will email you with corrections to be made and then you can resubmit until the program is approved. It is VERY rare that a final program is not approved. If the knowledge from the 7 modules is applied I have no doubt your program will be approved.
As seen from several of the student testimonials, coaches who have been in this industry 4-10 years rave about the way Pure PROgramming teaches long term periodization. Specifically for strength and hypertrophy. If you want to learn more and believe you have room do to so, it’s for you.
Pure PROgramming is a great resource to learn how to program in a way that supports other primary forms of exercise. I always say if you want to learn about program design for strength and hypertrophy progressions, join – you can then apply that however it makes sense for your clients.
In short, no. Straight up the info in Pure PROgramming is designed with the assumption that free weights are being used (barbells, dumbbells, machines etc)
NEGATIVE! Providing CEU’s from the top orgs was a must for ME but we have had students take the course just to program better for themselves!
Yes and no. I don’t provide a single assessment because it’s ALL based on your clientele. I provide assessments that I personally back and recommend and give you a checklist for WHAT you may want to assess for in clients depending on your coaching.
I can’t say for sure as I haven’t take other courses. But application and practicality is what my students tell me. They can take the concepts and directly apply them to their clients immediately. As well as the focus on LONG TERM periodization – Pure PROgramming is not teaching you one training method (as many courses do). It teaches you to recognize why a given methods works, and how you can marry these methods over time.
Pure PROgramming will work for both of these. You’ll be able to make the best decisions around exercise selection and loading. As well as know how to progress this person overtime. But training 1-2 days per week is never ideal if the goal is strength or hypertrophy. So, it depends – you may just want to research how to best utilize 1-2 days of training per week.
Yep! Online, or in person. Individualized, or templated.
Since there is no live portion of the course, the VIP Pure PROgramming Community is a VITAL piece of the course (you’ll get access right when you join). This is where you can get clarity or ask for feedback throughout the course. Just Tag me (Annie), and I’ll see it.
The course was originally created for 12 week completion and that seemed to be a good timeline. The fastest a student has completed the course since its been self paced is 8 weeks. Not to say you couldn’t do it quicker.
